Governance V1
The current governance system used by SORA v2, also known as Polkadot v1 Governance. Governance V1 consists of a Council, Technical Committee, and Parliament with on-chain proposals, referenda, and staking-based voting. Unlike Polkadot OpenGov, Governance V1 provides predictable proposal cycles and explicit decision-making processes. SORA v3 will evolve toward a hybrid DAO framework while maintaining the parliamentary structure for strategic oversight.
